THE WENDE MUSEUM OF THE COLD WAR
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA
2008 - 2009

Established audiovisual department which included 16mm educational GDR sponsored films and 8/S8mm home movies, audio and slides. Implemented and documented workflows, set cataloging standards, hired and supervised part-time staff, and achieved $5 million grant renewal. Acquired equipment and materials for preparation and digitization. Established digitization standards and policies; created AVI files from MovieStuff scanner. Acquired additional audiovisual collections and aided in further museum acquisitions of paintings, objects, and manuscripts. 

Oversaw UCLA semester long internships; learning outcomes were to introduce students to film and audio handling, preservation techniques, digitization standards and cataloging.
